Our mission
To capture the world around us through the medium of photography, then to use those images to inspire others to look at what actually surrounds them rather than accepting that blinkered view of the world which our busy lives force us to focus on.
We wanted to create a platform to display the world as seen through the eyes of those who actually stop and look.
The founders
The site was set up by Andy and Ben, two friends with completely different views through their lenses, but one common goal, to capture the everyday world around them.
One a wedding photographer with years of experience, an eye for detail and pin sharp images.
The other a newbie, with an impressionist's view that a photo should suggest the image rather than be an exact recreation.
Having spent much time photographing the same scenes and discussing our many images, both styles have drifted into the images you see on this site.
The best way to develop any skill is to do... rather than talk about doing and so we decided to just get on with it.
