with the intention of helping us from becoming stale with our photography and
to actually get together, setting out with a broad brief and to just take some images.
Simply having a camera with you and taking images which inspire is so liberating,
rather than working to fulfil a clients brief with the technically perfect shot.
Our first photo walk was inspired by the humble ND filter.
Both of us, having seen some wonderful images of waterfalls, rivers or the ocean all smoothed and misty through ND filters had impulsively purchased said filters, however having then studied the theory behind them both had been bamboozled and never ventured to use them, we both had them sat on our photo bags for months if not years.
So we set out to find some lively water and to give the NDs a go.
Our second photo walk was to the town of Harrogate famed for it's Georgian and Victorian architecture. Our aim Street photography which we had both been experimenting with, I think the success of this trip was the real inspiration to share our work and set up a portal for others to exhibit their images.
